Assalamualaikum, and good evening everybody.
My family and went to Turkey --> Madinah --> Mekkah last May 2014.. but for this entry i only will share our experience in Madinah.
Alhamdulillah, God has given us the opportunity to go to Medinah n Mekkah for umrah. This is our second time going there and we miss and love it so much!!!
We went there during school holiday and because of that we manage to bring Adek along with us as she is in boarding school so she only can follow us during school holiday.
The travel agency that we took for this trip is POTO Travel. Their services is OK, the tour guide and mutawwif very friendly and nice.
Our Flight is Turkey Airlines. The food from Malaysia to Turkey was great tapi bile balik mereka bagi makanan Turkey rase muak sikit sebab tak biase dengan makanan sane yang lebih kepada masam-masam n agak tawar.
The schedule of our trip are as follows:
i) 3 Days and 2 Nights in Turkey
ii) 4 Days and 3 Nights in Madinah
iii) 5 Days 4 Nights in Mekkah.
p/s: you might wanna ask the travel agency 1st on your trip schedule as they didnt provide us the detail itinerary mase di sana hari tu. Jadi agak blur-blur bile nak g Madinah n dari Madinah ke Mekkah pukul berapa nak gerak..etc..

OTW balik hotel selepas sembahyang terdapat banyak booth2 kecil menjual pelbagai barangan termasuk Al-quran untuk di wakafkan.. tapi hati2 ya.. Mutawwif kami kata ada 2 jenis Al-Quran yang di jual.. pastikan ianya adalah pencetakan madinah.. yang itu sahaja yang mereka akan letak d dalam masjid harganya dalam RM50.. yang berharga RM25 ke bawah akan mereka buang. Kalau tak silap untuk 'standardise' Al-Quran2 tersebut.

Tempat menjual tamar/ kurma.. tapi bagi kami di sini harganya terlalu mahal (maybe because of its quality la kot kan).. Mommy and ayah prefer beli di pasar dari di tempat ini. Boleh request dekat mutawwif untuk berhenti di pasar tersebut.. jika tidak request mereka tidak akan bawa pergi ke pasar tersebut.
In front of our hotel Elaf Taiba, Madinah. 4 minutes walk to Masjid Nabawi and very convenience as there is a lot of shops near that area.
