Trip to Chiang Mai, Thailand

Assalamualaikum, Hello everybody,

Early this month my family and I went for a holiday to Chiang Mai, Thailand. Actually we have tried so many times to book a flight ticket to Chiang Mai, unfortunately the ticket price was so expensive.. that is why after so many years.. finally we managed to bought the ticket but the ticket that we bought is not cheap either it is approximately RM1,800 return ticket from KUL - CHIANG MAI - KUL.

The itinerary of our trip is as follows :

Day 1 :-
6.55am : Flight Departure to Chiang Mai
8.40am : Arrived in Chiang Mai
10.00am : Breakfast at Ikhwan Restaurant
11.30am : Sight seeing at Doi Suthep (can see the view of Chiang Mai town from here)
2.30pm : Check in Hotel, Rest, Pray, and etc
7.00pm : Dinner at local restaurant
9.00pm : Shopping at near by local market
12.00pm : Back to our hotel and rest

Day 2 :
8.30am : Check out from Ibis Styles Hotel
9.00am : Breakfast at local restaurant
11.00am : Arrived at Mae Rim (Long Neck Village)
                 We did not enter the village as they charged RM50/person just to watch the long neck lady
                  which we are of the opinion that the entrance fees charges is too expensive for us.
2.00pm : Stop at Chai Prakan - Si Dong Yen to visit Dates farm and rest while having a good taste of
               coffee here. Oh! by the way.. the iced chocolate at the coffee shop is superb!!! make sure
               you try it. and the price of coffee and the iced tea is very2 cheap it's around RM7.
3.45pm : We arrived at Fang-Mae Sun which this is the place where local people came for camping.
                The view of this place is very nice
5.30pm : We arrived at Doi Angkhang. The weather here is very nice..during day time the
               temperature is around 13 to 16 degrees and during night time it may go to 5 degree Celsius.
6.00pm : Having dinner at one of the Halal restaurant (Nasi Goreng at this restaurant is very tasty!)
7.30pm :Check-in and rest

Day 3 :-
6.30am : wake up to watch sunrise at Fang-Mon Pin
8.30am :Visit the Ban Nor-Lae (The border of Thailand and Myanmar)
9.30am : Breakfast at local restaurant
11.30am : Check Out Hotel
12.00pm :Lunch at Doi Angkhang Coffee Shop + Sightseeing
2.30pm : Stop to eat at Fang-Mae Kha near by restaurant
4.30pm : Orange Farm (Self-pluck)
5.30pm : Check in hotel in Chiang Mai Town (Mercure Hotel)
7.00pm : Dinner at Banpihuennong Shop (The Biggest Halal Restaurant in Chiang MAi)
9.30pm : Shopping at Chiang Mai-Haiya Night Market
11.30pm : Rest

Day 4 :-
8.30am : Breakfast at local muslim restaurant
11.00am : Visit Sai Nam Phung Orchid (the uniqueness of the orchid here is that they plant them
                 using hybrid system which they did not put any charcoal or etc to plant them..haaa.. cool
                 rite..
12.00pm : Sight seeing around Chiang Mai Town
7.00pm : Dinner at the Biggest HalalRestaurant in Chiang Mai again as the food here is delicious!
8.30pm : Once again go to local market for shopping
11.00pm : Rest

Day 5 :-
8.30am : Check out from mercure hotel
9.00am : Breakfast at Halal restaurant
10.00am : Maesa Elephant Camp (For elephant show, elephant ride, etc)
12.30pm : Went for a ATV ride
1.15pm : from ATV to Airport
3.10pm : Departure to KUL
7.05pm : Arrived in KUL

The cost of this trip per person is around RM2,500.00 (if you managed to get a cheaper flight ticket i believed the total trip cost will be a lot cheaper.

We stay here for one night before we go to Doi Angkhang


 Long Neck Village - we did not go in as for us the entrance fee is very expensive.. that is 500 bhat per person.

 The strawberry is big and sweet



Look at the coffee price.. isn't i cheap!!! haha we love their coffee so much!!! 




This is our friend from Phuket.. They came all the way from Phuket to Chiang Mai just to visit us.. thank you mr. majeed and family!!! they drove for nearly 24 hours from phuket to chiang mai!!! isn't that crazyyyyy???
